The time has come for our provincial government to explain why it is not acting to protect its citizens' health and environment from the unnecessary risks posed by the cosmetic use of toxic pesticides, say members of a large and growing coalition of organizations and concerned citizens.

Médecins Sans Frontières /Doctors Without Borders (MSF), the world's leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organization, offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of disaster and of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Volunteers are always needed and work where the need is immediate, combining direct medical care with a commitment to bearing witness and speaking out about the underlying causes of suffering. Primary care physicians undertake a combination of curative care and teaching/administrative duties, with the balance varying according to the project.
