Dear NLMA members:
Please accept this letter as a token of
my appreciation. I am deeply grateful to have received a financial
bursary from the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association. This
money was truly needed and enables me to venture forth in my career.
You may be assured that it will be used for essentials and that it
has already provided me considerable stress release from my
financial woes.
I believe this type of support from the
association is significant and shows a commitment to medical
students such as myself. I have set a personal goal of pursuing
rural medicine in Newfoundland and Labrador and am encouraged by
