78th AGM combines business and pleasure

The 2003 NLMA annual general meeting, to be held May 29 to 31 at the Holiday Inn in St. John’s, offers something for everyone.

The 2003 NLMA annual general meeting, to be held May 29 to 31 at the Holiday Inn in St. John’s, offers something for everyone.
The business sessions will provide a unique opportunity to hear new and important information and participate in lively debate. There’s also time for fun and celebration, starting with the Gerry Lynch Memorial Golf Tournament at the Clovelly Golf Course on
Stavanger Drive, followed by an opening reception.
The AGM wouldn’t be complete without the traditional “lobster night” and lively entertainment. This year will be no exception. The AGM will conclude with the President’s Dinner/Dance, at which time life memberships in the
NLMA and senior memberships in the CMA will be presented, and the Gerry Lynch Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a fourth-year Memorial University medical student. Incoming President Dr. Susan King will have the last word as she outlines her hopes and aspirations for the 2003-2004 year.

Watch for registration material in the coming weeks and check the NLMA Website for up-to-date program information.
